Sustainability - design with care of Papatūānuku in mind; ensure there is a line of sight to our ‘why’ and connect back to our people; key driver of tuakana-teina to ensure we grow and strengthen the next generation of Māori public servants; and, look after ourselves with time and space to rest, reflect, grow and have fun.

The flow and feel is uniquely Māori by ensuring the practical logistics follow tikanga.

Mana whenua are visible and acknowledged from pōwhiri to poroporoaki; and, design for Māori first.

Ensure the events feel Māori. This includes bringing in fun and celebration through things like waiata and taonga tākaro. Ensure there is space for connecting and networking.
